There’s a revolution taking place at this very moment in our workplaces and it’s being led by people – just like you and I.
Fed up with jobs that drain our energy, there’s a grass-roots campaign underway aimed at helping people to feel more confident, energized and happy at work.
And it’s about to hit a tipping point.
You see a decade ago 63% of us believed we’d grow most at work in our areas of weaknesses. Today however, 64% of us report that building on our strengths – those things we’re good at and enjoy doing – will make us more successful at work.
Why? Because studies are finding people who have the opportunity to do what they do best each day at work are:
And teams who are focused on developing each other’s strengths report lower turnover, increased productivity, and higher levels of customer satisfaction.
So being strengths-focused is good for you, your team and your organization.
Of course doing more what you do best each day sounds simple enough. And yet the reality is that despite our best intentions, most of us struggle to find the time to put our strengths to work. Surely that’s just life right?
But what if it didn’t have to be?
In partnership with the VIA Institute and Live Happy, the Strengths Challenge was created for people just like you who want a tested, practical, busy-proof way to develop their strengths at work each day. A one-week boot camp for your brain, it’s been designed to help you discover, develop and deliver on what you do best at work all at the click of a button.
Taking about 11 minutes a day to complete, the Challenge is designed to walk you step-by-step through
With more than 70 different habits to choose from, the Strengths Challenge helps you to find joyful, authentic and evidence-based ways to develop your strengths. We give you everything you need including free eBooks, training videos and access to some of the world’s leading strengths coaches if you get stuck.
You’ll have all the support you need to start truly doing more of what you best.
Best of all, we’ll help you be accountable for making these changes – not just talking about them – and tracking your progress and the impact they have so you can see if this is an intervention that works for you.
And it’s 100% confidential, and 100% free.
Why? Because we believe that the future of our planet depends on more of us doing what we do best each day at work.
While much has been learned about the benefits of developing people’s strengths, there is a surprising lack of tested interventions to guide people’s approaches beyond completing a strengths survey and trying to use their strengths in “new ways”. One of the challenges we encountered for many employees trying to follow this advice, is that despite agreeing developing their strengths would probably be beneficial they were “too busy” to fit it in.
Appreciating the demanding workloads many employees are juggling, we started experimenting with busy-proof ways they could develop their strengths each day. In workshops and coaching sessions we began to introduce the idea of a daily 11-minute strengths habit that harnessed the natural neurological habit loop researchers have discovered of cue, routine and reward.
Anecdotal feedback suggested many people found this intervention helpful, so we decided to test it on a larger scale by inviting people all over the world to join us for a free one-week Strengths Challenge. More than 5,000 people have tested this intervention with roughly one-third of participants reporting that after just one week they felt:
